Chelsea Win Frankfurt on Penalties ⚽ to Set Up Europa League Final with Arsenal 💥

Chelsea beat Frankfurt 4-3 in a penalty shootout at Stamford Bridge as the Blues reached the final of the Europa League. 

Ruben Loftus-Cheek put Chelsea 2-1 in front on aggregate with a well-taken goal after half an hour tonight, only for Jovic to reply just before the hour to make it 2-2 on aggregate.

The match went to penalties, where Kepa saved twice in the shootout and Eden Hazard hit the winner.

Arsenal and Chelsea have qualified for the Europa League final, completing a historic week with European football’s two major finals now featuring Premier League teams.
The London clubs will face one another in Baku on 29 May while Liverpool will take on Tottenham in the Champions League final in Madrid on 1 June.

It will be the first time in the history of European football that one country has monopolized the two finals and means that both trophies will head to England.
